For your convenience, we encourage you to utilize the cell phone lot when waiting for an arriving passenger. Vehicles waiting in the cell phone lot must be attended by the driver at all times. Curbside waiting is prohibited at El Paso International Airport; any unattended vehicles at curbside will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.
The cell phone lot enables motorists to temporarily park free of charge until friends, family members, or business associates have deplaned, collected baggage, and called to be picked up curbside. This convenient waiting area eliminates the need for circling the airport repeatedly if an arriving party is later than expected, ultimately resulting in less roadway traffic and congestion, less air pollution, and increased auto fuel savings.
